Very happy with the guys and the service they provide. They always give an honest and realistic opinion and are never pushy or ‘salesy’. They give you as much information as they can and generally have a friendly and relaxed approach. I have now bought two cars with them and have been pleased with both. I feel satisfied that I am getting value for money. I would recommend.

I bought a car from Hitchin motor sales in October. Within two days the ABS and engine warning light had came on, they refunded me £100 to get it fixed. After further issues with the brakes when I attempted to get the ABS fixed I called hitchin motor sales and told them I’d like to get the car back to them and get a full refund on it. They told me that the £100 refund they gave me had voided my warranty even though I’d only had it just over a week. One week later and now the engine has gone into limp mode and the brakes are unsafe. Would not recommend.

You purchased a £900 part exchange to clear Jaguar, we refunded you £100 due to the abs light on ( Front right wheel speed sensor) which you where happy to accept. You then called us to tell us the front and rear discs and pads need changing which you where quoted £800 by a garage. Give me a call tomorrow and I can arrange to sort something out, I don’t need these negative feedback especially over a part exchange car kind regards Hitchin Motor Sales

Buying my sons first car should have been a great experience. The owners ensured it wasn’t. To cut to the chase the car needed a new turbo, timing chain and oil pump. Approx £2000 worth of repairs. We decided to return it for a full refund as governed by the Consumer Rights Act. And that’s when the nightmare started. We will repair it was there response. We decide what happens. I contacted Citizens advice who assured me a refund was our right. Some very difficult conversations ensued with rudeness and aggression being their retort. Eventually a refund was made but not before I threatened legal action. I also had to pay £200 to return the car to them as they wouldn’t collect it. Totally unprofessional, a nightmare. Stay well away is my advice. Koi

You brought the car and on the way home the EML light came on approximately 10 miles from my site. Instead of calling me or returning to the site immediately you proceeded to drive the vehicle home, you called me the next day to inform me of the fault and said you had called the RAC out to do the diagnostics. They diagnosed the turbo actuator at fault, you then took the car to your local garage in which they said turbo and timing chain. You then refused to let us get the car checked by our mechanics, even though we offered to have the car collected and fully repaired. We have provided you with a full money refund, I don’t know what else we could have done to rectify this. Therefore I don’t know why your leaving a bad review you even said it your self the garage offered to fix the faults Kind Regards Hitchin Motor Sales

I recently bought a Honda Civic Type R and can honestly say it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. After I'd had a good look around the car (without anyone hovering over my shoulder, which was nice!) they answered all the questions I had and provided all the documentation and history that had been advertised - all backed up with plenty of friendly chat. After a long and very thorough test drive, they were able to deliver to car to my house an hour away on the same day. It's great that these guys are car enthuasiasts first who actually know and care about the cars they're selling. I'm looking forward to many miles of enthusiastic driving in my new car and when the time cames for me to make a change, I'll definitely make Hitchin Motor Sales my first port of call. Highly recommended!

Recently bought a bmw 325ci from here. I turnt up and instantly felt welcomed , they showed my the car and left me to look around it myself and said they would be inside if I have any questions! No hard sale here! The 2 brothers are very friendly and was happy to help with the things I had asked! Would 100% reccomend ! I will be back next time for sure! Thank you again

• Disrespect to customers • Flippant attitude • Car did not match description • Misleading information on site • Seller laughing and disregarding genuine safety, car condition questions • Rushing the buyer to make a quick uneducated decision • Not allowing to test drive the vehicle outside city centre where the performance could really be tested • Wasted 5 hour journey
